Happy Easter!... A little late...

Easter Sunday was GORGEOUS! As was the day before. Mother Nature gave us a little respite before sending us a whole week of rain. Uugggh! At least it isn't snow!!

The Easter Bunny!!... AKA Me

Easter is probably my favorite holiday. If I had more orgizational skills and, lets face it, more moulah I'd be up to my eyeballs in Easter shit.

I love Easter candy and egg hunts and new spring clothes. I love coloring eggs and Easter ham and asperagus. But most of all, I love Easter baskets. I can't wait to put them together and hear the squeels of delight Easter morning. I always have to get pictures the night before, when they're still perfect. Then more Easter morning as they get torn apart!

Chicken Pox!!

I can't believe it! Ev's got chicken pox! When I was a kid, it was a right of passage but now, kids don't get chicken pox anymore.

Unfortunately, Evelyn is too young to get the vaccine. She was probably exposed in WDW and after talking to my mom she actually recalls seeing a little boy with chicken pox at one of the parks!

Seriously? What kind of parents bring their sick kid to Disney World and expose everyone to chicken pox! Thats what vacation insurance is for!

Highlight of the day...

For Josh his highlights were going Mobius, playing in dirt, making Easter nests out of colored spaghetti, having breakfast-dinner, and getting a coke float for dessert.

For Ev, it was playing in the sock pile.

Go Fetch

Josh tosses toys for Evelyn to "fetch." He says he's helping her practice crawling but I think he's training her for one of those dog agility contests.

Last day in Disney World!! Went to Animal Kingdom and had a blast. This was my favorite park this time around. We rode Expedition Everest, ate BBQ, went on a safari and ended it all at the Rainforrest Cafe.

After dinner we went back to the MK to do a last minute ride on Space Ranger Spin, Josh's favorite ride featuring none other than Buzz Lightyear.

What an awesome trip filled with magic and memories. Already dreaming of our next trip!
